During your demonstration you are entitled to a 10 minute refreshment break

Ensure any food or hot items are packed away out of view during your break

Ensure you have your Store Safe pass visible, clipped to the apron pocket so no logo is covered

At the store

Check into Parim (on your mobile phone)

Go to Checkout control

Ask for the Grocery Manager and sign in the visitors book if the store has one

Show the manager your demo stock, as this will need to be “stickered” in store so as not to confuse your sampling stock with the store selling stock. Stock can be stored underneath the sampling table

Ensure you have your Store Safe pass  / Food Hygiene visible, clipped to the bottom of your shirt so no logo is covered 

ONCE YOU ARE SET UP Please get a staff member in the store to take a photo of you by the STAND. this must be done each day and text to Donna 021612349 at the start of your shift

Mechanics of Preparation

Set up the table as per the photo provided.
Each case of stock will provide you with 120 biscuits (therefore for every 4 hour activation, you will have 360 biscuits to sample)

Unwrap the biscuits from their packs, and place into the white serving tray.  Place a box of the flavour behind the tray so you know which flavour is which.  

Always use gloves to handle the product, and you must hand the sample of the customer’s preferred flavour to them using the tongs provided. Customers are not to help themselves to the biscuits.  

While consumer is sampling the biscuit, you should engage in conversation with them about the biscuit.  Refer to your report for conversation points, so you can get the information needed to complete your report at the end of the assignment.

Take a note of how many packs of each variant are sold and note this on your report at the end of your shift.  

DO NOT sample to anyone under the age of 14years, they must be present with an adult and you hand the sample to the adult to give to the child 

After the Sampling

Pack up any leftover stock and all your equipment

Sign out on Parim

Make sure your report is sent electronically through the Studio23 Staff Portal after your demo studio23.work
