Personal Breaks
During your demonstration you are entitled to a 10 minute refreshment break
Ensure any sampling product is packed away out of view during your break
IMPORTANT - The following online education is essential to working on this activation. It will take 15 minutes to complete
You will need to register and working as a Brand Promoter at Joylab (DB Breweries Auckland)

Check into Parim (on your mobile phone)
Introduce yourself to the Duty Manager and use your COVID – 9 scan in
The Duty Manager will show you where you can set up your table (this will ideally be either next to a display or in a visible position at front of store)
When you are all set up please get the duty manager to take a photo of you beside the sampling table and email donna@studio23.co.nz or text this to me. 021 612 349. This must be done before you start sampling
Sampling Stock
If you have not worked on this brand before you have been given a can of each flavour to try at home so you know what this taste like. Please try this before your shift
The sampling demonstration stock will be in store, let the duty manager know that you are taking 1 box of the mixed pack as they will need to credited back from the client, in some stores the rep will drop the stock to the store. We have let them know that this has been authorised. Break open the boxes and get 6 cans to place in your ice bucket, the sampling box that you opened ask the Duty Manager if you can store this behind the counter as we don’t want them around your table as it will be a hazard and untidy, they might be alright in the chiller just ask them. Always take a note for our reference how many cans you are going through per shift and what flavours and for the store how many boxes you are taking so we they can get a credit, please put this info on the report or email me
Mechanics of Preparation
Set up the table similar to the photo provided - the boxes on the table will be the mixed boxes, not individual flavours
The stores have ice for you however if you have to purchase this please get a receipt so we can reimburse you
Put 2 cans of each flavour in the ice bucket and the ice
Put 3 boxes of store product on the table is for display but also the customer can take this from you, if they do take this replace this so you always have these on your table
We are promoting the mixed box - 3 flavours in one box
Put some empty sample cups on the table ready to pour for the customers ( Do not pre pour)
Fill your water jug at the store and place on table - this is for anyone who wants a water after sampling
Everyone over 18yrs that comes into the store invite them to try a sample
Everyone must be over 18yrs - if in doubt please ask for ID – No Id no Sample, the birth date will be under 6 July 2003
Invite consumers to try a sample of their choice – or they can choose all flavours that you are sampling if they wish
Only pour the sample to quarter of the sample cup – this is just a taste
Engage with the consumers and tell them the features of Quirky, good flavours, good flavour balance
There is a lot of advertising for Odd Company over the sampling weeks and you are part of this team, thank you for your work on this
COVID GUIDELINES
STAFF
• All staff are required to download the government Covid tracer app onto their phones, and record/check in their visit on arrival to the store
WORKING IN STORE
• You have also been provided with hand sanitisers, and for customers to use if required when approaching the activation area. Please keep the table clean and tidy
After the Sampling
Put any store product on your table back on the shelf and tell the staff that you have finished and thank them
Sign out on Parim and make sure your report is sent electronically through the Studio23 Staff Portal
Enter your hours if you are an employee of Studio23 or contact your agency for your hours
Pack up the Demonstration table, and other equipment
Clean all equipment and ensure this is ready for your next demonstration
At the end of your demonstrations and when all your assignments are completed , please contact Ange to make arrangements
