Ensure you wear the required uniform - Tidy casual jeans/shorts and sneakers. If you are cold, please wear a long-sleeve thermal that can be worn under the l/sleeve shirt. Hair must be tied up, and minimal make-up must be worn ( Refer to the Studio23 Non-Negotiables)
The meeting point for all staff members is at the Pop N Good inflatable. This is marked on the map as 1.
At the location
Your Team Leaders will meet you at the Top Field location just along from the Lost Kids. There, you will be handed your uniform, slot you into your allocated teams, and run through the staff brief.
You will then move to your allocated vehicles and change into your uniform. To keep your belongings secure, you will place them in the van cab.

Where to position yourself on location
Identify the best access points for people arriving at the event and close to your vans.
Load the white plastic containers and position yourselves so you can hand as many samples as possible to people as they arrive or once they have seated.
Your team leader will help you identify these locations.
Sampling or Engaging With Children
When engaging or sampling children, please ensure that all samples are handed to the parent in the first instance. This safeguards you if a child has allergies you are unaware of. Any children under the age of 14 years must have their parents present during sample distribution.

Activation Mechanics – TEAM LEADERS
Pick up the Vans/trucks from Budget in the morning.
Load even amounts into each vehicle. If the boxes are on pallets, load the product in the boxes and leave the pallets at the lock-up.
Also load the inflatable, uniforms, flags, and sampling containers from the lock-up, along with the hand trolley if there is one there.
leave the lock-up for the venue. Ensure that you have your vehicle pass in the dashboard of the van/truck.
Arrive at the park just before 11:00 AM and ensure you are escorted to the sites with your hazard lights on.
If you need to contact the organiser, his name is Chris (021445543), and please introduce yourself.
Begin setting up the inflatable. There should be power access to the lighting/sound tower.
Park the Van behind the inflatable so that you can set up an area to unload the product.
Using the pig tails create and area to stop people jumping on the inflatable.
Take the second vehicle and park this at the second location.
The team should have arrived for a Team Brief (approx. 4:30pm). Give each person a branded top and a branded cap to wear. Ensure that all staff are in full correct uniform, then take a photo of the team in front of the inflatable, holding the product in their hands.
Assign your team members to the various entrance points in the park with their plastic tubs and stock ready to sample.
Team Leader must also take photos of the team using their phones. Photos must include the following:
Families with products in their hands
The activation team handed a sample to an adult.
Team photo prior to activation in full correct uniform with a sample pack or tote bags
Engagement with consumers’ photos
Families sitting down in their groups, eating the product
lots of crowed shots later at the event
Activation Mechanics – EVERYONE

Ensure that you understand the “sampling to kids” policy for this brief
Boxes are to be emptied into the white tubs and arranged flat-packed neatly to one side of the van, so they can be loaded into the van at the end of the event.
Approach all consumers in a friendly and professional manner
Any rubbish/cardboard is to be broken down and stacked inside the truck
If you have any queries or issues with the sampling activation, please discuss them with the team leader.
After your shift
Remove your uniform and hand it to your team leader
Assist with the removal of any rubbish (there is to be no rubbish left on site. All rubbish is to be disposed of at recycling)
Make sure your report is completed
