During your demonstration you are entitled to a 10 minute refreshment break
Ensure any food or hot items are packed away out of view during your break

Ensure you have your Store Safe pass with you
Please refridgerate the ginger beer and the tonic at home the night before
Check on Parim the store locationAt the store
Check into Parim (on your mobile phone)
Take all your equipment into store - do not leave the box in the store that the table is in, remove the table from the box and leave box in car or at home
Go to Checkout control
Ask for the Grocery Manager and sign in the visitors book if the store has one
Ask for the manager in charge of the Liquor area and sign in the visitors book
Discuss where to set up and show him your stock for the demo, please get the store to sticker these to stop any confusion on ownership of stock
15 minutes from arrival you should be set up and ready to go and please get a staff member in the store to take a photo of you by the table and text this to me straight away on 021 612 349
Mechanics of Preparation
You should be standing next to the product on display in the store - ask if this is OK to set up there
Set up your table like the photo - put a bottle of each from the store shelf on your silver tray for display
Ask at the Deli if you can put some Ice in your ice bucket.
DO NOT get store stock and our stock mixed up, our stock is for sampling
Measure your sampling ready to serve : put 50ml of Dry London Sprit into the measure cup, then add 150ml of tonic and mix
Pour these into the little sample cups so this is pre made - only pour 5 at a time and only fill to half of the sampling cup, the remainder in the jug Sit this into the ice bucket

Place the cups on the silver tray
Put the tonic water and the ginger beer and the premixed spirits jug in the ice bucket and put this under your table with your open spirit bottle
Have one sample cup with approx 1/4 fill with the spirit - so one cup with the Dry London and one cup of the Dark Cane and one cup of the Ameican Malt so the customers can smell the flavour. When you are offering them a sample get them to smell this first and then offer them a taste from the sample cups.
Always get them to smell before taste. Always talk about the product and get the customers interested and refer to the back of the bottles of the tasting notes
PLEASE GET A STAFF MEMBER FROM THE STORE TO TAKE A PHOTO OF YOU STANDING NEXT TO THE PRODUCT WITH YOUR TRAY AND TEXT THIS TO DONNA 021612349 AT THE START OF YOUR SHIFT
After the Sampling
Put any store product on your table back on the shelf and tell the staff that you have finished and thank them
Sign out on Parim and make sure your report is sent electronically through the Studio23 Staff Portal
Enter your hours if you are an employee of Studio23 or contact your agency for your hours
Pack up the Demonstration table, and other equipment
Clean all equipment and ensure this is ready for your next demonstration
At the end of your demonstrations and when all your assignments are completed , please drop the gear to our office or contact Ange to make arrangements
