Make sure you are wearing clean black pants with black closed shoes.

A uniform will be on site which will include white shirt, tie, waistcoat and apron. Allow enough time to change into the uniform.

Ensure that you know where you are going and where to meet your team.

Hair must be tied up and minimal make-up to be worn ( Refer to the Studio23 Non Negotiables).  

Masks will be provided for the sampling activation

Parking is available for staff for $5 per day. Please send through your receipt for reimbursement.

Read and understand the product breif

At the Mall

Check into Parim (on your mobile phone)

Make your way to the stand and get ready for your shift

Make sure the equipment has been turned on.

You have sufficient water and milk for the day

Mechanics of Preparation

We are only allowed to sample 30ml per serve and the compostable sample cups are 110ml so follow these instructions.

Place the capsule the customer would like to try into the Nespresso coffee machine and press the small cup button.

This will pour 25mls of flavoured espresso into the cup. Add to this a small amount of froth milked from the Cappucinnator or the Milk frother on the coffee machine and hand to the customer.

Place the used capsule into the TeraCycle bin for counting and recycling.

The cups are compostable and should be discarded in the compostable rubbish bins.

If it is easier use the Cappucinnator then use the frothers attached to the Nespresso machine frothers for Oat Milk dairy free option to keep the milk seperate

Customers may try as many flavours as they wish. Encourage customers to use the QR code and write a comment on the flavour

A lid is not required for the cup due to the sample size, however lids are available on the stand.

DO NOT sample to anyone under the age of 14 years.  They must be present with an adult and you hand the sample to the adult to give to the child 

At the end of each hour record the number of samples given of each flavour and fill this in on the split board.

Using the Nespresso Machine

After your shift

Place all the rubbish in the recycling area

Pack up any leftover stock and ensure the stand is left clean for the following day.

All milk to be left in the fridge

Sign out on PARiM before you leave the mall
