EQUIPMENT CHECK

2 x Demonstration Table 1 x with a Black top with header Polls the other just a white top

1 x L’OR wrap for the white top demonstration Table

1 x L’OR Limited Creations wrap and a header with LED Lights

1 x set to make up the L’OR awning to go on the white top talble

2x Nespresso Machines

2x Milk Frothers (these may be attached to the coffee machine)

200 4oz black coffee cups

Wooden Board to put under ice cream

You will need to purchase

4 x 2Lt French Vanila Woolworths Ice Cream

1 x can of ice cream hip (I have sent 2 x tip)

UNIFORMS

3 x gold ties

4 x White Shirts

3 x aprons black Bibbed L”OR BRANDINGlong

4 x waistcoats (check correct size)

You will need to provide and wear - Black dress pants/black tidy jeans (not washed out/faded)/black dress shoes or plain black casual shoes with Black socks

Ensure you are dressed in the required uniform - Your own black shoes (closed toe), black dress trousers.  You will need to wear a while collard shirt so that you can wear a tie.  If you do not have a shirt please contact us immediately. Hair must be tied up and minimal make-up to be worn ( Refer to the Studio23 Non Negotiables)  

Check on Parim where the cinema is location to work out sufficient time to get there.

At the Cinema

Check into Parim (on your mobile phone)

Go to the Customer Service Desk and ask for the contact so that you may establish where you will be setting up.

Mechanics of Preparation

Set up the demonstration tables and attached the L’OR wrap which goes around the table with the header card

Place the 1 x coffee machine and frother on each of the table and ensure they are Plugged in and working

Set up the table as to the photo

Have a practice on making the Cafe Liegeios.

In a small cup place a small scoop of ice cream, add a dash of Caramel syrup and pour a single L’OR Arabica Nyika espresso over the top. Place a small squirt of cream from the can and add a spoon.

If someone would like an espresso then just make them a shot of the L’OR Arabica Nyika (we only had 1 person who wanted milk in Auckland so need to buy this)

At each of the activations we would like you to ask 25 people the following people the following question and record the result.

1.     Have they heard of L’OR before this event?

2.     Do you own a Nespresso capsule machine or similar?

GIVEAWAY

As part of the conversation ask people if they have a Nespresso Machine at home. If they answer yes please give them a complimentary box of L’OR ARABICA NYIKA capsules for them to take home

FAQs – Answers for Consumers

Are they as good as other competitors?  What is the best?

·       Do not compare to competitors (e.g. do not say L’OR is better than Nespresso or Nespresso is bad).

·       Focus on our capsules product quality.

·       Do not infer that the product is better in quality than a competitor.

·       We have done a lot of consumer testing and we know that our products stack up well and taste amazing.

What machines do they fit?

·       Our capsules work in the majority of Nespresso®* coffee appliances that are currently in market.

·       For the most up to date information on compatibility please visit our websites.

·       For non-Nespresso®* machines, we do not have evidence that the capsules work in these machines even though they may – because we don’t have this evidence, we cannot say they do

What are the benefits / difference of aluminium v plastic?

·       Aluminium creates a higher quality coffee experience

·       It’s taste:  more aroma, intensity and richer foam

·       Convenient to use:

®    Designed to fit Nespresso coffee machines

®    Less pack material

®    Best before date is now 12 months

Will these capsules break my machine?

·       Focus on the fact they are proven to work with majority of Nespresso machines that are in market

·       Refer the consumer to our website which has the most up to date information on machine compatibility

Do the products void my warranty with Nespresso?

·       This will depend on what Nespresso’s warranty conditions say

·       You should refer the consumer to their own machine warranty guidelines

·       Applicable to all machines, not just Nespresso

What is the price in supermarkets?

·       Consistent with trade and competition laws, we cannot comment on the end price of our products which is determined by retailers and not by JDE.

Is this product suitable for vegans?

·       Pure coffee in capsules is suitable for both vegetarian and vegan diets.

Do you have any decaf option?

·       We have a L’OR decaf option available in all major supermarkets, not available to try today sorry.  

How are the capsules recycled?

·       You can recycle them through our TerraCycle program

·       Please refer them to the leaflet on this or the TerraCycle website.

Are the coffee capsules gluten free?

·       Yes

Are the coffee capsules dairy free?

·       Yes, unless you add milk.

What is the difference between Espresso, Lungo and Ristretto?

·       An Espresso is liquid coffee extracted by pushing hot water through a puck of grinds, delivering a deep round full flavour with a syrupy body.

·       A Lungo is liquid coffee created by pushing twice the volume of hot water through the same volume of grinds as an espresso, delivering a milder flavour profile, more coffee, and a thinner body.

·       A Ristretto is liquid coffee extracted by pushing slightly less volume of hot water through the same volume of grinds as an espresso, delivering a more intense flavour profile, less coffee and a thicker body.

Do any of the brands offer fair trade?

·       All our coffee we source for our capsules are UTZ and Rainforest alliance certified

Do any of the brands offer organic?

·       Yes, we have a new L’OR Organic capsule that is available in all major supermarkets, not available to try today sorry. 

Which one has the most caffeine?

·       The caffeine present in the ground coffee and extracted into your drink will only vary marginally from capsule to capsule.

What beans are your capsule brands made from?

·       The coffees we source and select for all of our brands come from around the world, with specific focus on delivering the optimum flavour and drink quality. 

What is the difference between Arabica and Robusta beans?

·       Arabica and Robusta coffee beans come from two of more than fifty recognized Coffee varieties in the world.  Arabica beans are renowned for delivery a clean and balanced cup, while Robusta beans deliver intensity and body.
